In 1984,we successfully completed the design and fabrication of two very large covers, 24 metres diameter, for the sludge storage tanks in Kranji Swerage Treatment Works and Seletar Sewerage Treatment Works for the Ministry of the Environment of Singapore.
At that time, it was believed to be the largest tank cover, ever to be made in Singapore with local expertise, entirely made from Glass Reinforced Plastic, without the help of steel supporting structures. The cover was designed to sustain windloads of up to 1.5 kilo Newtons per sq.m. (KN/m2)
